so that we may have instruction and guidance for living our lives and
bringing glory to God. When is the last time the Glory of God so filled
your heart that you were just overwhelmed with the depth of His love?
Can you remember the last time the Word of God drove you to tears?
What would the life of your church be like if people were passionately striving to live their lives according to the direction provided through God's written Word to us? A Celebration of The Word is an opportunity to dive deeply into the Word of God and celebrate the life-changing impact it can have when one invests oneself in it. A visiting team of lay men and women will share their stories and struggles as they have tried to live life according to God's calling. |
| The emphasis is on Scripture. Through a
series of small group meetings, one-on-one prayer time, fellowship,
faith stories and worship, participants will be intensively driven into
Scripture. At the conclusion of the weekend, there will be a deeper
desire for personal devotion time and a deeper passion for investing
oneself in both small groups and corporate worship.
A Celebration of the Word is a weekend devoted to opening the Word, celebrating the Word and living the Word. It includes many experiences that will help church members to ignite (or reignite) the passion of a life lived by following the Word. |
